'Gifted' is an uplifting appreciation anthem that fills you with the same elation and gratitude as the friendships that inspired the track.

It is the fourth single written, performed, produced and mixed by m8riarchy.

m8riarchy's commanding yet vulnerable voice allows her to explore the nuance and complexity of authentic expression and relationships with captivating tenderness.

After the completion of 2019's MESS Professional Development course, m8riarchy further explored her interest in electronic synthesis. With access to the extensive MESS collection, m8riarchy developed her unique approach to the creation of electronic music.

m8riarchy performs locally with Simona Castricum, bringing the untz to festivals such as Gaytimes, Hybrid, Something Unlimited and Golden Plains. The pair combined on Simona's 2017 'Triumph' EP and collaborated for the release of 'Supertouch' in 2020.

m8riarchy’s music feels like it’s been written for you. She lets you into her process of movement and emotion, creating a sense of belonging that leaves you wanting more.

Her sound is shaped by a deep love of pop vocals and a lineage of electronic music that manifests community and liberation on the dancefloor.
